I often meet my clients for the first time on the day of their wedding since Eureka Springs is a destination wedding spot.  It’s always such a surprise to meet the people I have been talking with for months prior to their wedding.  Let me just say, I was super excited when I met these two gorgeous people.  What a sweet couple!  Love their simple, private wedding on the lawn of The Crescent Hotel.

I have known these two since they were in high school. That probably doesn’t seem like a very big deal, but it makes me feel like I am part of their family.  This day was extra special for many reasons, and I wish them only the best in life.  I can’t wait to see little Kleffman babies running around.  🙂Image

When I first started my photography business, I was scared to death of weddings. I would shoot anything, but no weddings! I kept telling myself that I was better at senior photos and that I should simply stick to that.  I have a dear friend who lives in Waco, Texas, and she encouraged me to shoot more weddings.  With her pushing and prodding and encouragement, I have forced myself to go against my fears of not doing something well.  (I was the kid in class who always had to have an A.) Now I look at the product of hard work and determination (along with lots of reading,  blog stalking, and practice . . . ) to see the end result.  I LOVE shooting weddings!!  I hope Tay and Kent enjoy their photos as much as I enjoyed shooting them!

After spending two days getting from Northwest Arkansas to the Grand Cayman Island, the views, water, and food were spectacular. I don’t think I have ever seen water so blue in my life.  We stayed at the Sunshine Suites and ate several delicious meals in the Sunshine Grill, swam with the dolphins in Dolphin Cove, and at dinner at the Wharf restaurant at sunset.  To top it all off, I was privileged to attend one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen.  Picture perfect! We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go again some day.
